Protecting God’s Children is the mandatory child protection training for all employees and volunteers in the Archdiocese of Washington who have substantial contact with children. Parents, friends, and family members may not volunteer in a close capacity with children at St. Joseph's Regional Catholic School without completing the training program.
VIRTUS training is highly encouraged as it educates parents on how to protect their child as well as increases opportunities for parents to volunteer or complete parent volunteer hours. This is a one-time investment of 4 hours that allows you to work with children in the Archdiocese of Washington for many years.
